Orders & Modifications
Can I cancel or modify my order?
Because we work on a made-to-order basis to reduce waste, our system sends orders to production very quickly.
You have a 12-hour window after placing your order to request a cancellation or change (address, size, or design). After that, your Valette is likely already being printed, and we cannot make changes. Please email hello@valettebags.com immediately if you need help.
I didn’t receive an order confirmation. What happened?
First, please check your spam or promotions folder—sometimes our emails like to hide there! If you still can’t find it, you may have entered your email address incorrectly. Drop us a line at hello@valettebags.com, and we’ll find your order and update your details.
Why did I receive only part of my order?
Don't worry, the rest is on the way! Since we have different specialized facilities for different products (e.g., our backpacks might be printed in a different location than our tote bags), your items may ship separately. You will receive a tracking number for each package.
Shipping & Delivery
How long will it take to get my bag?
Since every Valette item is made specifically for you, there are two stages to your delivery:
- Production: It typically takes 2–5 business days to print and quality-check your bag.
- Shipping: Once it leaves our facility, shipping usually takes:
- USA & UK: 2–7 business days
- Europe: 5–10 business days
- Rest of World: 10–20 business days
Do you charge VAT?
VAT is included in the price of our products. We do not make a profit from VAT; it is collected and remitted to the relevant tax authorities in accordance with local regulations.
Will I have to pay customs/duties?
We try to produce locally whenever possible (e.g., fulfilling EU orders within the EU). However, for certain international orders, customs fees or import duties may apply depending on your country’s laws. These fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Where do you ship from?
We are a global brand! We work with production partners in the USA, UK, Europe, and Asia. We always aim to route your order to the facility closest to you to ensure faster delivery and lower carbon emissions.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We want you to love your Valette. If you don’t, you have 30 days from the delivery date to return it. The item must be unused, tag-attached, and in original packaging.
Please note: Personalized items cannot be returned unless defective.
How do I return an item?
Important: Please DO NOT send the package back to the address on the shipping label (our manufacturing facility). They cannot process returns.
Instead, email us at hello@valettebags.com with your order number. We will send you instructions and the correct return address (our headquarters).
Do you offer free returns?
Unless the item arrived damaged or we made a mistake, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
My item arrived damaged or defective. What now?
We are so sorry! Please email us within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the damage. We will send you a free replacement or a full refund immediately. You generally won't need to return the damaged item.
Product & Care
How do I clean my Valette bag?
Canvas Totes: Spot clean with mild soap and water. Hand wash is recommended to preserve the print vibrancy.
PU Leather Bags: Wipe gently with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
Backpacks: Spot clean or dry clean only.
Why do the colors look slightly different than on my screen?
We try our best to display colors accurately. However, screens (phone/laptop) emit light, while fabric absorbs light. Additionally, printing on textured materials like canvas or faux leather naturally gives a slightly softer, more matte finish than what you see on a glossy screen. This is part of the charm of printed goods!
